Robert F Allen

Robert F. Allen, 47, of Palatka passed away unexpectedly Tuesday, March 5, 2013 at his residence.

Robert was born in Palatka at the former Putnam Memorial Hospital and had been a lifelong resident of Palatka. He was a 1983 graduate of the Palatka High School and he had worked as a carpenter. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and taxidermy. Having been disabled for the past 13 years, he never let that stop him from living independently and he continued to enjoy hunting and fishing.

Surviving are one son, Travis Wayne Allen of Palatka; his parents, Jack and Betty Allen of Palatka; two daughters, Ramie Allen of Palatka and Allison Allen of Chattanooga, TN; three sisters and brothers-in-law, Barbara and Kenny Hebert, Penny Powers, and Janice and Jesse Bohanan, all of Palatka; one grandson, Tristan Allen of Frankfort, Kentucky; and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be 2:00 p.m. Saturday, March 9, 2013 at Masters Funeral Home in Palatka with Pastor Ben Tippett officiating. The family will begin receiving friends at 1:30 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home. Burial will follow in the Etoniah Cemetery in Bardin.
