James K. Hefner

James “Jake” Hefner, 29, of Ft. Lauderdale, passed away unexpectedly on Monday, February 8, 2021 in Ft. Lauderdale.

Jake was born in Palatka and had lived in Ft. Lauderdale for two years coming from Interlachen. He was a cook for different restaurants. He enjoyed fishing, working on cars, and family.

He is survived by his parents, Richard and Patti Hefner of Interlachen; two sisters, Haze Raihälä and her husband Matti of Astoria, OR and DeAnna Sterling and her husband Maurice of Palatka; two nephews, Chris Hartung of Astoria, OR and Dane Parker of Palatka; and a grandmother, Diane Bobo of Orange Lake.
